Made in the USA by a veteran-founded business, the ornament features a festive wreath design inspired by handcrafted decorations used during Gerald R. Ford’s administration. The front is adorned with dolls, cherubs, doves, stars, flowers, gingerbread men, candles, and pentagon-balls; the back displays emblems reflecting Ford’s Eagle Scout achievement, his University of Michigan athletic years, his family’s golden retriever Liberty, the USS Gerald R. Ford carrier, and his role in the 1976 Bicentennial. This ornament supports the Association’s mission to preserve and share the rich history of America’s “People’s House.”
